BLADE, Ernie E., Jr.
Kalamazoo Passed away Friday, September 21, 2012. Ernie was born September 18, 1938 in Three Rivers, the son of Ernie E., Sr. and Pauline Buscher Blade and was a lifelong resident of the area. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a 35 year employee of the General Motors Facility in Comstock. On May 19, 1989, he married Ella Maynard, who survives. He is also survived by his sons, Eric and Edward Blade and daughters, Debbie Hall and Peggy Rothchild; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a step-son, Paul Susan Brown; a sister, Darlene David Wolfgang; nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has take place and a committal service, with full Military Honors, will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the West Michigan Cancer Center, 200 N. Park St., Kalamazoo, MI. 49007. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
