Kalamazoo Passed away Friday, November 9, 2012. Age 83. Ernest was born in Terre Haute, IN on October 24, 1929, the son of the late Charles and Christine Cuthill Williams. He worked for the Dunkley Company for 30 years and attended the Covenant Church of Comstock. He enjoyed working, fishing, woodworking and making things for himself. On February 27, 1946, he was united in marriage to Joyce Hope Williams; she preceded him in death on August 27, 2006. Ernest is survived by his daughter, Susan Wayne Petto of Comstock; his sons, Dean Pat Williams and Roy Marilyn Williams, all of Comstock; five grandchildren, Theresa Petto, Craig Betzy Petto, Barry Jennifer Williams, Jeremy Williams, Angela Timothy Keene-Kennedy; 10 great-grandchildren, Elise, Lauren, Jessica, Gabrielle, Evan, Erik, Lillyana, Samantha, Olivia and Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. Ernest was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Elstrom. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Dave Beetham will officiate with burial in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Covenant Church or to Borgess Hospice.
