Kalamazoo Emily Elizabeth Umstead True Baranoski was born May 20, 1926 in Stelburn, Indiana, to the late John and Bessie Umstead. Emily married Elwyn Ray True, on May 2, 1942, and he preceded her in death on November 13, 1952. Emily married John Peter Baranoski, on June 15, 1954, and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Renee True Baranoski, on November 3, 1959; a son, Jeffrey Ray True Baranoski, on December 11, 1971; and a Great grandson, Jaden Richard Baranoski, on December, 12, 2009. Surviving Emily are a daughter, Karen Tom Saylor of Fort Wayne, Indiana and a son, John Patricia Baranoski of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Emily leaves behind eight grandchildren, many great grand and great great grand children and a sister, Janette Hitt of Elkhart, Indiana. A special THANK YOU to the wonderful staff at Crystal Woods of Kalamazoo and to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Cremation has take place and a private family service is being planned.
