WARD, Mrs. Elizabeth A.
Novi, MI Formerly of Kalamazoo Died Friday afternoon July 8, 2011 in Novi, Michigan. Elizabeth was born July 21, 1924 in Lafayette, Indiana a daughter of Frank and Lillian Krieger Oberle. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with the Kalamazoo Public Schools for many years as teacher before retiring. Elizabeth was also a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, F. Wayne Ward on April 12, 2004; 2 sons, David Ward in 1951 and Gerald Ward in 2004; 2 brothers, Theodore Oberle and Donald Oberle; and 2 sisters, Mary Margaret and Vera. Elizabeth is survived by a daughter, Elaine Joseph Pereira of New Boston, MI; 2 grandchildren, twins, Angela Ryan Dreier Morrison of Colorado and Christie Chris Thomas of Germany; 2 great-grandchildren, Isaac and Lillian; a sister, Miriam Jack Keller of California; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be held in the Mausoleum at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 2003 Mt. Olivet Road, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at twelve noon. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer�s Association. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
