Elizabeth J. Fooy

FOOY, Elizabeth J. Of Kalamazoo Passed away Thursday February 22, 2007 at Kairos Dwelling. Elizabeth was born October 30, 1928 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Lawrence and Eunice Hall Haner, and has been a lifelong area resident. She was employed for 25 years with Meijers and was a past member of the Retail Clerks Union. On November 1, 1947 she was united in marriage to David C. Fooy who preceded her in death on October 28, 1979. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Duane and Ronald Haner. Surviving are her children, David D. Chrysanthe Fooy of Kalamazoo, Daniel L. Fooy Judi Schonacher of Hickory Corners, Delores J. Kevin Webb of Jackson, Douglas C. Heidi Fooy of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Carrie Kris Klinger, David E. Taryn Fooy, Eric Fooy, Kelly Fooy, Phil Robin Webb, Darren Webb, Melanie Webb, Jacob Fooy and Jacob Gray; great-grandchildren, Kristofer and Joshua Klinger, David Dominic Fooy; a sister, Marilyn Roger Helmer of Kalamazoo; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street where Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday with Rev. Dan Minor officiating. Interment will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery.
