ELLISON, Elizabeth N.
of Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 24, 1945, a daughter of Arthur C. and Frances E. Paul. She is survived by her loving husband, Joshua; her daughters, Nijodins and Shaway-bené Ellison and Grace Tim Foxworthy; grandchildren, Maria, Jacob, Lilly and Raven; brothers, Russell Paul and Keith Paul; sister, Susanne Kemper; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Paul; and a sister, Patricia Lee. Elizabeth was a lifelong educator and a member of the Kalamazoo Literacy Council and the Ladies Library Association. She will be greatly missed. Religious services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., with Rabbi Harvey Spivak, officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for final expenses.
