Elizabeth passed away Wednesday July 4, 2007. She was born April 13, 1917 in Marine City, Michigan, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Densmore Phillips and has been a Kalamazoo area resident for over 50 years. For many years she had worked in the real estate business and throughout her life was known to be a very giving person. Elizabeth was married to Thomas W. Coe II who preceded her in death in 1967. She was also preceded in death by her parents and by two sisters, Dorothy and Wilda ?Billie?. Surviving are her children, Robin Dan Munson of Portage, Thomas Linda Coe III of Baldwin, and James Deborah Coe of Galesburg; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday in the Trinity Chapel at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church 1150 W. Centre St. with Father Kevin Covert, presiding. Following services friends are invited to join the family in Marion Hall for a time of food and fellowship. A private family interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials in Elizabeth?s memory may be directed to St. Catherine of Siena Church Building Fund or National Fragile X Foundation. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek Street.
