Elizabeth ''Betty'' L. Thompson

THOMPSON, Mrs. Elizabeth ?Betty? L. Portage, MI Passed away Thursday afternoon October 26, 2006 at her home in Portage. She was born on Sept. 26, 1923 in Cleveland, OH to Daniel and Hilda Wolf Thellman. On July 24, 1948, she married Burt L. Thompson and remained his wife for 39 years until his death in 1987. They had 2 children: Laurie Howe and her husband, Jeff and Mark Thompson and his wife, Karen. Grandchildren: John Northrop, Russell Northrop and his wife, Michelle, Audrey Thompson and Julie Northrop. Great-granddaughter, Ava JaydeNorthrop; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Hilda; and a brother, Daniel. Services will be held 1 o?clock Saturday, November 11, from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, November 10 at the chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alano Club of Kalamazoo.
