SENNE, Eleanor HenriettaOf KalamazooEleanor passed away Friday May 11, 2007. She was born February 8, 1913 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Reinhold and Anna Bartz Petrowsky. In 1934, she received her Registered Nurse degree in Chicago, IL, and practiced intermittently throughout her life. She lived in Bay City, MI, where she was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church. After moving to Kalamazoo in 1978, she joined Zion Lutheran Church and resumed her activities, which included sewing quilts and visiting invalids. On November 24, 1938, in Decatur, IL, she married Walter Edgar Senne who preceded her in death on November 3, 1973. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Constant and Reinhold Petrowsky; and by her daughter, Ann Peterson, son-in-law, Gene Peterson and granddaughter, Wendy Jo all on November 29, 1975. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Robert Norton of Kalamazoo, Edna Philip Crouse of Stanwood, MI; grandchildren, Pamela Schuen Andy Richards of Kalamazoo, David Dawn Schuen of Rives Junction, MI, Matthew Marlen Schuen of Portage, Julie David Peyok of Reese, MI, Jeffrey Sarah Crouse of Charlevoix, MI, Jennifer James Wojciechowski of Manistee, MI; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday May 15 at Zion Lutheran Church 2122 Bronson Blvd, Kalamazoo. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday May 16 at Floral Gardens Cemetery in Bay City, MI. Memorials in Eleanor?s memory may be directed to the Lutheran Hour.
