Kalamazoo, Michigan Died Thursday afternoon August 5, 2010. Eleanor was born April 7, 1919 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of William and Margaret Lukins Schultz. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with W.T. Grant Stores for 16 years and later with Western Michigan University for 18 years before retiring. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Mott J. Blossom in September 1963; her second husband, Wendall Lee; 2 brothers, Carl and Bernard Schultz; a half sister, Helen Aten; and 2 sisters, Gertrude Gilman and Irene Slattery. She is survived by 2 children, Frederick K.C. Blossom of Waverly, TN and Pamela Richard Ozanich of Plainwell; 4 grandchildren, Christine Patrick Bynum, Melissa Rodney Carroll, and Andrea and Kenneth Blossom several great-grandchildren; a brother, William Schultz of Sun City, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 o'clock Friday in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Sojourner House.
