BAHR, Eleanor M.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Eleanor was born December 8, 1922 in Slovum, PA, a daughter of John and Mary Stozicki Rastosky and lived in the Kalamazoo area for many years. On March 30, 1940, she married Adolph Bahr, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1992. Eleanor was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and volunteered at Borgess Hospital for many years. She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Henry Bosma of South Haven, Brenda Richard Rakow of Kalamazoo and Jane Patrick Murray of Menasha, WI; her son, Allen Crystal Bahr of Portage; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 2122 Bronson Blvd., with Pastors Timothy W. Seeber, Larry Brelje, and Louis Grother, officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Zion Lutheran Church.
