Elayne Gilmartin

GILMARTIN, Mrs. Elayne of Port Charlotte, FL formerly of Kalamazoo Passed away Wednesday November 29, 2006 from a lingering illness. Elayne was born January 17, 1921 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Neil and Nell Dykers Benzenberg. She was united in married for over 50 years to Dr. James Gilmartin who survives. Also surviving are a sister and brother, Donna Yowler and Roger Beverly Benzenberg all of Kalamazoo; nieces and nephews, Craig Linda Yaple, Lynette Joe Martin, Brian Rita Benzenberg, Brenda Benzenberg; several grand nieces and nephews and 3 cousins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1-2 pm in the Mt. Ever-Rest Mausoleum Chapel where Services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. James Dyke officiating.
