Elaine B Carlson

CARLSON, Elaine B. Kalamazoo Mrs. Carlson passed away quietly Sunday evening, January 14, 2007 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born July 19, 1922 in Lansing, the daughter of Harry H. and Margaret Phillips Shaull. Elaine graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1940. She met and married the love of her life John Charles Carlson on June 27, 1942 in Lansing. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1998. She is also preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Virginia Chrones. Surviving are one daughter, Judith Carlson-Jones of Kalamazoo; two grandsons, Richard Jones of Comstock and John William Jones of Kalamazoo; two great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Daniel Jones; and one sister, Jeanne and Bernard Cady. Memorial services for Elaine will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer?s Association.
