Of Mattawan, MI Passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the age of 69. He was born on August 16, 1943 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Edwin M Duenewald Sr. and the late Mardel H. Hagerty Duenewald. He graduated from Mattawan High School in 1961 and later received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University. He had been employed by Kingscott and Associates, Trend and Associates, Tower, Pinkster and Titus and currently with Home Depot. He loved spending time with his family, playing board games and cards, collecting coins, stamps and model cars. He also enjoyed traveling and camping for many years. He loved to be with friends and was a past enthusiast of bowling and square dancing. He was married to his wife of 49 and ½ years, Sharon Murray Duenewald, in 1963; she survives him. He is also survived by his children, Deborah L. Scott Dennis and Darcie M. Bill Wolgamood Richard; his sister, Delwyn Callies; his aunt, Betty Hagerty; many nieces, a nephew and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Maurice Callies; and his uncle, Walter "Hael" Hagerty. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
