Edward P. Robinson

ROBINSON, Edward P. Kalamazoo Peacefully passed away, Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Select Specialty,Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Edward was born March 24, 1932 in Illinois, a son of the late Adrian H. Brown and Evelyn McGaughey Brown. He was united in marriage for a loving 32 years, to Alma Mae Haines, who preceded him in death in January of 1996. Edward had a love of God and family above all else and actively enjoyed life. Amongst his many interests were, listening to jazz music, viewing sports, especially the Detroit Pistons, reading and self-education. His love of common and uncommon gadgets was something he was well known for. He was employed with Upjohn Corporation as a Chemical Operations Supervisor until his retirement in 1994 after 29 years. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, from January of 1952 until being honorably discharged in January, 1956. Surviving him are; children, Mark Angelique Robinson of Schererville, IN, Jeff Michele Robinson of Plymoth, MI and Craig Robinson of Gary, IN; grandchildren, Mark Jr., Lauren, Justin, Zoah and Kirsten Robinson; and many nieces and nephews. Also, a Special ?thank you? from the Robinson family to Claudia and her family. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, 11:30AM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI. Visitation will take place prior to services, from 10:00 ? 11:30 AM at the Westside Chapel. Flower contributions are welcome, or a charity of one?s choice may be sent in Edward?s name.
