BRADLEY, Mr. Edward R. "Pete"
Portage, Michigan Died Sunday morning June 3, 2012. Pete was born July 9, 1935 in Battle Creek, Michigan a son of Edward and Lanora Pierce Bradley. During the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Navy. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 46 years and was employed with the Kalamazoo Stripping Company for several years before retiring. Pete was also a member of the Delton V.F.W. Post # 422. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara A. Bradley on December 23, 2006; and a son-in-law, James Smith. Pete is survived by 9 children, Edward R. Nancy Bradley II of Vicksburg, Theresa Dick Hammel of Portage, Michelle Calvin Caswell of Portage, Vincent Linda Bradley of Grand Haven, MI, Barry Lisa Miller of Plainwell, Cindy Randy Engelsman of Zeeland, MI, Teri Smith of Plainwell, Sondra Hillsburg Curt Reynolds of Mattawan, and Billy Nancy Learned of Boston, MA; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several cousins. Private services will be held in Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Delton V.F.W. Post #422. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
