BOGEMA, Mr. Edward P.
of Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday morning August 30, 2011 at Bronson Hospital. Edward was born February 10, 1943 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Robert and Claudia Crosby Bogema. He served with the U.S. Army in Korea. Ed had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident. His career included time spent at American Tool, Eaton Corporation, and 18 years as a machinist at General Motors before retiring. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Everyone who knew him will remember his smile, sense of humor, and jovial laugh. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Robbie Mason. He is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Bogema of Richland; a brother, James Ellen Bogema of Victorville, CA; a special friend, Karen Marion of Portage; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 11o'clock Monday, September 12th from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
