of Portage, MI Passed away June 29, 2009 at Tendercare Portage. She was born May 10, 1917 in Pulaski County, Indiana to the late Wesley and Katherine Trapp Tuley. Edna was united in marriage on January 7, 1938, to Cornelius "Neil" Marks, who preceded her in death in December of 1997. Edna loved her family and she enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and going on camping trips. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving Edna are her children, Judith John Bosma of Portage, Thomas Esther Marks of Grand Rapids, Jack Diane Marks of Vicksburg, William Marks of Portage and Wayne Marks of Portage; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were a son, Max Mills in 2004; sisters, Ellen Estep and Erma Coakley and Evelyn MacKinder. A Memorial service will take place Thursday, July 2nd, 11:00am, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave. , with a visitation taking place 1 hour prior to services. Memorials, in Edna's name, may be directed to the American Lung Association, the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
