DOLHAY, Edna
Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008. Edna was born September 1, 1913 in Kalamazoo, a daughter of Jerry and Jennie Smith Boelman and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the Kalamazoo Free Methodist Church and had been employed by Kalamazoo Stove Company for many years. On October 22, 1961, Edna married Frank Dolhay, who preceded her in death on February 20, 2002. She was also preceded by her parents; a grandson, Jay Morrison; a sister, Marian Stuckham; and two brothers, John Boelman and Sam Boelman. Edna is survived by her son, Harold Harriette Morrison of Paw Paw; a granddaughter, GiGi Morrison of Lawton; 1 great grandson, Jimmy Mowrer; a sister, Ann Vermeulen of Kalamazoo; three brothers, Jerry Boelman of Kalamazoo, Steve Shirley Boelman of Kalamazoo and Alfred Boelman of Portage; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends, including a special friend, Jennifer Laker. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 10:30 AM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Interment will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Kalamazoo Free Methodist Church.
