Galesburg, MI Died Monday evening January 14, 2008. Edna was born December 18, 1915 in Galesburg, Michigan a daughter of Willard and Elizabeth Aber VanSickler. She had been a lifelong Galesburg resident and was a member of the Galesburg Congregational Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was also a Cub Scout, Brownies, and 4H leader. She was united in marriage to Gordon A. Bigley on June 24, 1936 who preceded her in death in 1990. Also preceding her in death, her parents; 2 brothers, Robert and Paul VanSickler; a sister, Ruth VanSickler, Shelley Dumonceaux. She is survived by 3 children, Bruce June Bigley of Kalamazoo, Vance Gail Bigley of Galesburg, and Elizabeth "Betsy" Brunt of Battle Creek; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock Friday at the Galesburg Congregational United Church of Christ, 22 S. Church St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Galesburg Congregational United Church of Christ.
