Edna M Allen

ALLEN, Mrs. Edna M. Portage, MI Died Wednesday morning February 14, 2007. Edna was born April 15, 1906 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Warner and Ethel Walker Patterson. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was a member of the Stockbridge United Methodist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otto W. Allen on January 17, 1983; a daughter, Janet Peterman on June 20, 1998; and a sister, Lulu Gaden. She is survived by 3 children, Mary Lou Philip Webb of Lakeland, FL, Beverly ?Jean? Gordon Kern of Eagle Lake, and Wayne Dorothy Allen of Portage; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Hugh Patterson of Littleton, CO; a brother-in-law, Carl Marjorie Allen of Portage; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o?clock Saturday at the Stockbridge Ave. United Methodist Church, 1331 Race St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Stockbridge Ave. United Methodist Church.
