KEELER, Edith G.
of Galesburg Passed away January 5, 2012 at home. She was born August 7, 1953 in Battle Creek, to Fernando "Joe" and Rosetta Goldey Keeler. Edith was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Comstock for many years. She was known to be very caring, she loved music and dancing. She enjoyed interior decorating and cleaning house as she was always proud of her home. She also enjoyed gardening outdoors, roller skating, and going to Oshtemo and Long Lake. Surviving Edith are her children, John Lawrence, Jr. of Battle Creek, Kelly Lawrence of Dowling, Starla Lawrence of Kalamazoo and Keith Lane of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany, Crystal, Elizabeth, Joseph, Blake and Gage; her mother, Rosetta; brothers, Paul Sandy Keeler, John Sandy Keeler, George Linda Keeler and Owen Gina Keeler; sisters, Tina Tom Taylor and Lisa Tim Jones; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Edith in death was her father, Fernando "Joe". Family will greet friends Monday, January 9th from 2-4 and 6-8:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St., Galesburg. A private graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Galesburg, Pastor John Vick, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Edith's name may be directed to her children.
