Dr. Inselberg was fortunate to combine his passion for science and love of education through multiple academic endeavors, most notably as a Professor of Biology at Western University from which he retired. Ed's zest for life was witnessed daily through his genuine interest in others and his always present sense of humor. He demonstrated a steadfast commitment to giving back to many local, national and international charities, most notably to Jewish, Israeli, children and animal charitable organizations. He is also known for always giving money to anyone on the street who asked, feeding the animals at his beloved home and saving any stray animal that came to his door.
