STATLER, Mr. Earle M.
Comstock, MI Died Wednesday morning December 1, 2010 at his residence. Earle was born June 6, 1937 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Victor and Bernice Johnsen Statler. He honorably served with the U.S. Marine Reserves years ago. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church and Kalamazoo Eagles. On August 7, 1979, he was united in marriage to Carol L. Wyman Statler who survives. Also surviving, 2 daughters, Tammie Steve Klobuchar of Edwardsburg, MI and Pamela Ken Fassett of Traverse City, MI; a step son, Ervin Keli Deckard of Comstock; 4 grandchildren; a brother, William "Bill" Nicki Statler of Marcellus, MI; an aunt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Monday at the First Freewill Baptist Church, 630 Moline St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway.
