Texas Twp., MI Died Monday morning July 21, 2008. Earle was born February 14, 1921 in North Braddock, Pennsylvania a son of Charles and Vivian Ermine Killingsworth. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Airborne. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident for many years and was employed with Western Michigan University before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Helen Killingsworth in 1976; his recent wife, Geraldine I. Killingsworth in 2004; a son, Earle F. Killingsworth, Jr. in 2006; a sister, and 2 brothers. He is survived by a devoted and loving companion, Rita Bendfelt of Texas Township; a son, Ed Nancy Killingsworth of Mattawan; a daughter, Terrie John Rinehart of Mattawan; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a special niece, Vivian Smith of Tempe, AZ; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
