Portage, MI Died Friday morning September 18, 2009. Earl was born June 12, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan a son of Charles and Lydia Neumann Zulauf. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Navy. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 3 years, coming from Redford Township, MI. Earl was employed with Ford Motor Company for 20 year before retiring. He was also a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church; and the Retired Naval Reserve Organization. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia "Ginnie" Zulauf in 2002; and a brother, Dr. Marvin H. Zulauf in 2008. He is survived by a nephew, Mark Debra Zulauf of Portage; and 3 great-nephews, Eric, Kyle, and Nick. A memorial service will be held 10:30 Saturday at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 9420 Portage Rd. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Private graveside services will be held in Glen Eden memorial Park, Livonia, MI. Memorials may be directed to the Lord of Life Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
