Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday afternoon July 10, 2011. Earl was born August 25, 1921 in Akron, Ohio a son of Wirt and Sarah Brown Crawford. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Consumers Energy for 20 years before retiring. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Helen Jenney. He is survived by niece, Sharon Dan Ouding of Richland; great nephew, Rick Amie Bowman of Comstock; and a great-great-niece, Cassie Bowman. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Plainwell Pines Employee Appreciation Fund. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
