Dwight Richard ''Bus'' Grosser

GROSSER, D. Richard ?Bus? Of Vicksburg Passed away Saturday evening, February 3, 2007 at his residence. Bus was born October 13, 1921 in South Haven, MI the son of George and Elizabeth Mosey Grosser and had been a lifelong resident in the area. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1986 he was the owner and operator of Portage Aluminum for 35 years. Bus was a real handyman that could fix anything, especially while working in his garage. Prior to his illness he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Klomp; a grandson, Scott Klomp; and a brother, Gerald Grosser. On January 20, 1951 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, the former Lorraine Munson, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Rick Debbie Grosser, Rod Julie Grosser; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Herald Grosser, Marjorie Henry Esman, Phyllis Frisbie, George ?Bob? Grosser, Jr.; sister-in-law, Nellie Grosser; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00 o?clock Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre. Friends may meet the family Monday evening from 6-8pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Portage Chapel. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at 11:00 o?clock Thursday meet in assembly area at 10:50. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Greater Kalamazoo.
