Of Plainwell Dr. Kent passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at his home. He was born August 22, 1928 in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Kent operated a private OB/GYN practice for many years in Kalamazoo and later joined Borgess Medical Center working for several years before and during retirement. Preceding him in death was his wife, Sharon Kent, on August 24, 2010. Friends may visit from 5-8 PM on Friday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Private interment was held by the Kalamazoo Islamic Center at Mt. Ever-Rest North Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Borgess Foundation.
