LEGUIZAMON, Dr. Enrique
Of Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday evening, November 13, 2011 at his residence. Enrique was born November 5, 1933 in Tinogasta, Catamarca, Argentina to Efrain and Carmen Oviedo Leguizamon. He was a graduate of the University of Cordoba Medical School, Argentina and served his residency at the Cleveland Clinic. In 1971 he established a private cardiology practice based at Borgess Medical Center, where he spent the next 25 years until his retirement. He enjoyed a 30 year marriage to his wife Gretchen, whom survives along with their 4 children; Ernesto Roberta Leguizamon, Luis Samira Leguizamon, Marissa Leguizamon, Carmen Leguizamon; 2 grandchildren, Enrique "Ricky" and Luis Alejandro "Alex"; sister and brother, Aida Leguizamon De Soria of Catamarca, Argentina, and Aldo Luis Leguizamon of Buenos Aires, Argentina; and special niece, Ellie Jim Cuatt and their children, Sophia and Nicholas. Enrique had a passion for life; he not only loved medicine but also enjoyed traveling, reading, fly fishing, futbol, and most of all, his family whom he was very proud. A gathering for family and friends will be held Sunday, November 20, from 12:00-3:00 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
