Formerly of Kalamazoo Doug passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 at his home. He was born May 23, 1944 in Allegan, the son of Ernest and Harriet Fuller Engelman. Doug was employed by Kalamazoo Tank and Silo for many years. Surviving are his fiancée, Kathryn Clayton; one sister, Ruth Joe Mihelich of Avondale, CO; step-brother, Raymond Armella Holland of Hickory Hills, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents; his step-mother, Maude Shepard Holland Engelman; two brothers, Charles and Richard Engelman; one step-sister, Lela Rackely; and one step-brother, Robert Holland. Memorial services for Doug will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Washington Square Apartments, Rec. Room, 710 Collins Street. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
