SWAIN, Mrs. Dorothy M.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday afternoon March 5, 2009. Dorothy was born May 2, 1922 in Plainwell, Michigan a daughter of Henry and Grace Gilpatrick Hutchinson. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1950, coming from Plainwell. Dorothy was employed with W.T. Grant Stores for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George E. Swain on June 22, 2002; 2 sisters, Elva Wilson and Lucille Nevins; and a brother, Harry Hutchinson. Dorothy is survived by a son, Gary Rita Swain of Little Torch Key, FL and Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Monday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday. Interment will be in Mt.
