Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday evening November 8, 2008. Dorothy was born April 12, 1932 in Pottersville, Missouri a daughter of Walter and Vernie Davis Hensley. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since the 1950's. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gleen L. Spencer in 1994; 2 brothers; a sister; a brother-in-law; and a sister-in-law. She is survived by 2 sons, Stephen Spencer of Kalamazoo and Ronald Karen Spencer of Vicksburg; 9 grandchildren, Michelle Mark, Mindy Nick, Stephanie David, Vince, Zach, Jacob, Brandon, Alisha, and Kyle; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lowell Rachel Hensley of West Plains, MO; 6 sisters, Charlene Huffman of West Plains, MO, Mildred Steve Rutan of Springfield, MO, Shirley Dewayne Callahan of West Plains, MO, Barbara Lee of Springfield, MO, Irene Kenneth White of West Plains, MO, and Violet Steve Losch of Springfield, MO; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Story of Comstock; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. Services will be held at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main St., West Plains, MO 65775 at a later date. Interment will be in Pottersville Cemetery in Missouri.
