Mrs. Dorothy L. Passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007. Dorothy was born July 6, 1922 in Dover, Missouri. For over 15 years she operated Singleton?s Foster Care and was employed with the Kalamazoo State Hospital for 22 years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband Steve Singleton in 1984, by her second husband Edwin Sheppard in 1989 and by two daughters, Jeannie Singleton and Pat Lesterhouse. Surviving are her children, Mary Arche Perkins, James Carol Singleton, Steve Pat Singleton and Chuck Edith Singleton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday at the New Apostolic Church 2601 Kalarama with Priest Peter Cook officiating. A private interment will be held in Mt.
