of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the age of 73. She was born in New Baltimore, MI on October 17, 1939, the daughter of the late Edward C. and Eva Hall Rumenapp. She worked for Borgess Hospital and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and shopping. She also loved all animals and especially enjoyed bird watching. She was married to Charles Ockerman on February 6, 1957; he survives her. She is also survived by her children, Dennis Kandi Ockerman of Kalamazoo, Deanna Joseph Goulette of Kalamazoo, Scott Ockerman of Kalamazoo and David Laura Ockerman of Bangor; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brothers, Victor Goulette and Joe Goulette; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Goulette. Cremation has taken place and no service is planned. Memorials may be made to Kairos Dwelling or the Humane Society of Kalamazoo.
