MULDER, Dorothy A.
Lawton, Michigan Died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at her home. Dorothy was born January 25, 1928 in Kalamazoo to the late Irving and Aileen Gardner Prouty. She was united in marriage to Henry H. Mulder, Sr on December 3, 1949 in Kalamazoo. Henry, Sr. preceded her in death in August of 1999. Dorothy was a long-time member of New Apostolic Church. She was very dedicated to her family and also to her church. She enjoyed being with people and when time allowed, she enjoyed gardening. Surviving Dorothy are her children, Henry Jr. Terry Mulder of Mattawan, Sharon MacNeil of Lawton, Larry Lisa Mulder of Paw Paw and Kevin Mulder of Lawton; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Gene Mary Prouty and Marvin Prouty; sisters-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death was a son, Thomas E. Mulder in 1963. A visitation will take place on Monday, the 15th, from 2-4 and 6-8:00PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave. Services will be held on Tuesday, the 16th at 2:00PM at the New Apostolic Church, 2601 Kalarama, Portage.
