Dorothy Ella Moore

MOORE, Dorothy Ella Of Kalamazoo Passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 21, 2007 at her residence. Dorothy was born May 2, 1920 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Harold and Gladys Buie Wiedmayer and had been a lifelong resident in the Kalamazoo area. She was employed with James River and retired from there after 40 years of service. Dorothy enjoyed life and spending time with her family who were by her side at the time of her death. She also loved watching birds; working on her flower garden; and going to breakfast with her sons. Dorothy was a giving person, and supported various charities in her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Moore; 2 brothers, Robert and Richard Wiedmayer; and a sister-in-law, Eleanor Wiedmayer. Surviving are her 3 sons, Michael Barbara Czuk, Eric Czuk, Paul Diane Czuk; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Shelby Field; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10:00 o?clock Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick with her grandson Timothy Czuk officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Sunday from 4-8pm at the chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, or the American Heart Association. www.langelands.com
