Galesburg, MI Died Sunday morning March 13, 2011. Dorothy was born August 10, 1930 in Gentryville, Indiana a daughter of Grover and Leta West Harris. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and co-owned LoBretto Welding Service with her husband, Anson for 38 years before retiring in 1990. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anson F. LoBretto in October of 1997; and a brother, George Harris. She is survived by 4 children, Mary Donald Ray, David Brenda LoBretto, and Anson Crystal LoBretto, Jr. all of Galesburg, and Gilbert Vernetta Cook, Sr.; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Gertrude Kerr and Helen Sue Jenkins both of Kalamazoo, and Jean Webster of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held 5 o'clock, March 18th at her daughter, Mary's residence. Private burial will be held at a later date.
