Naples, FL. formerly of Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Dorothy was born November 10, 1913 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Elmer and Jennie Pikkaart Pasch and had lived in Kalamazoo for many years before moving to Florida. She had worked for Sutherland Paper and Brown Paper Companies for 24 years and was a Past Head Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. On June 16, 1934 she married Fredrick D. Freeman, who preceded her in death on October 25, 1985. She was also preceded by her parents and 2 sisters, Wilma and Elizabeth. Dorothy is survived by 4 daughters, Doris Gillespie Merrill of Marco Island, FL, Donna Jean Bob Goldstein of Naples, FL, Joyce Elaine Al Walker of Kalamazoo and Phyllis Lorraine Ketch Ketchum of Pine Lake; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; a brother, Lyle Velma Pasch of Kalamazoo; many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Boughton Cemetery with Rev. James Dyke officiating. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. on Friday from 4-7 PM.
