Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday afternoon January 8, 2008. Doris was born March 4, 1913 in Jones, Michigan a daughter of Kirby and Verna Replogle Miller. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roland W. Withers in 1987; 3 brothers, Raymond Miller, Clarence "Hap" Miller, and Paul "Spud" Miller; 4 sisters, Eunice Miller, Eileen Katz, Gladys Ward, and Helen Hughey. She is survived by a son, Dennis Dorothy Withers of Portage; 3 grandchildren, Melissa Craig Begeman of Portage, Bryan Kiera Withers of Lawton, and Jason Withers of Battle Creek; 4 great-grandchildren, Evan and Riley Begeman and Logan and Parker Withers; a brother, Robert Norma Miller of Burr Oak; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Friday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Graveside services will be held 1:30 Friday in Constantine Cemetery, Constantine, MI.
