of Portage, Michigan Passed away November 12, 2010 at Bronson Hospital. She was born February 26, 1930 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late William and Mary Lambeck Stenger. Doris was married to William Burch, who preceded her in death. After William's death, she married Peter Lowery, who also preceded her in death. She liked arts and crafts, shopping, flea markets and she enjoyed nature. Surviving Doris are her children, Larry Sally Kohler of Vicksburg, Shirley Ron Kohler of Sherwood, MI and Janice Jeff Darner of Portage; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were; a daughter, Yvonne Homoki; brothers, Robert and William; and sister, Carolyn. Services will take place Tuesday, 2:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., where family will also greet friends from 1-2:00 o'clock, prior to services.
