Doris Grace Klimp

Age 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 7, 2024. 

Doris was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on November 16, 1939, daughter of Elmer and Grace (Vandyken) Gordon. On October 15, 1960, she married Arthur Klimp who preceded her in death on August 24, 1999. She was a housewife and enjoyed the task of raising a family. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Doris is survived by her children, Annette (Dale) Landstra, Jeff Klimp, Jason (Maryann) Klimp, and Christopher Klimp; grandchildren, Chloe and Zachary Klimp. She recently lived at Fountain View Assisted Living where she was well cared for and earned names such as "Best Friend" and "Sweet Lady".

 A visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 411 East Centre Avenue, in Portage, MI. Burial will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South, located on Westnedge Avenue, at 12:00 pm the same day. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
