Donna J. Vogler

VOGLER, Donna J. Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in Kalamazoo. She was born November 29, 1925 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Antoinette Long Kluge and had been a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. Donna had been employed by the Kalamazoo Public Schools as a baker for 29 years. She had been a member of Grace Baptist Church until it closed and then became a very active member of Oakwood Bible Church. She also had been a volunteer for Senior Services in the Meals On Wheels program. On November 14, 1947 she married Earl Vogler and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1984. She was also preceded by a brother, Bob Marceline Kluge, and two sisters, Marcilla Hill and Mary Shattuck. Her survivors include her children, Linda Kay Vogler of Kalamazoo, Earl Frederick Luz Maria Vogler of Vienna, VA and Valerie Dawn Brad Rice of White Lake, MI; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Oakwood Bible Church, 4100 Oakland Dr., with Pastor Stephen Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Gift of Life Program.
