Formerly of Sturgis, MI Died Saturday evening May 8, 2010. Donna was born March 16, 1925 in Harbor Springs, Michigan a daughter of Clarence and Iva Seamon Sutherland. She had been a Sturgis area resident most of her life and was employed with Glen Oaks Community College for 17 years before retiring. Donna was also a member of the Salem Lutheran Church; and the Mintdale Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers. On March 2, 1951, she was united in marriage to Vincent C. Hepner who survives. Also surviving, 2 sons, Duane Hepner of Sturgis and Don Monica Hepner of Richland; 2 grandchildren, Rebecca Ian, 2Lt. USAF Hepner-Liston and Marissa Hepner; 2 brothers, Clarence Sutherland of Mattawan and Lee Sutherland of Climax; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 o'clock Friday at the Hackman Family Funeral Home, Rosenberg Chapel, 807 East Chicago Rd., Sturgis. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center or the Michigan Heart Fund. Local arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
