Kalamazoo Passed away February 17, 2011 at her home. Donna was born October 15, 1929 in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Stanley and Wava Lamb. She was a resident of Kalamazoo for many years and worked for the J.C. Penney Co. for 45 years. She was also a part of the Kalamazoo County Sherriff Reserve Unit for over 20 years. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Helen Lamb. She is survived by her children, David Kathy Ball, Bruce Ball, Randy Colleen Ball and Sandra Ball; grandchildren, Kelly McGinnis, Kristi Ball, Michael Ball and Bradley Ball; great grandson, Trenton McGinnis; her brothers, Douglas Lamb and Duane Lamb; the father of her children, Kenneth Ball; special friends, Ida Pearson, Tammy Pearson and Pam Holroyd; and her loving dog, Holly. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the West Michigan Cancer Center or the Kalamazoo County Humane Society.
