Kalamazoo, MI Died quietly at home Friday morning May 4, 2007 surrounded by his family. Donald was born December 7, 1930 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Charles and Marian Fry Richter. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Allen Test Products for 43 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Charles and Raymond Richter; and a sister, Shirley VanAvery. On June 2, 1955, he was united in marriage to Pearl L. Randall Richter who survives. Also surviving, 3 children, Jacqueline James Dunn and Sheri Richter all of Comstock, and Doreen William Anderson of Delton; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 o?clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday.
