REED, Mr. Donald C.
Portage, MI Died Thursday evening December 20, 2007. Donald was born June 9, 1921 in Gun Plaines Township, Michigan a son of Joseph and Mabel Weldon Reed. During WWII, he served with the U.S. 8th Army Air Corp. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Interkal for 27 years, retiring in 1986. He was also a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church; Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #88; Portage Eagles; and the Portage V.F.W. #5855. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Hazel Johnson and Margaret Wrobleski; a brother, Loren Morehouse; and a nephew, Sgt. Wayne Wrobleski. On June 1, 1946, he was united in marriage to Catharine R. Wrobleski Reed who survives. Also surviving, nieces and nephews, Paula Dan Knight of Alamo, Judy and Rose Wroblseki both of Plainwell, Terri Wroblseki of Wayland, and Paul Knight of Alamo; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Elmer Joanne Morehouse, Jr. of Royal Oak, MI; a sister, Doris H. Lee Fleck of South Carolina; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 o?clock Thursday at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. Interment will be in Mt.
