LEET, Mr. Donald J.
of Portage, MI Born to Frank and Frances Myron Leet on 2/20/28 and died at 85 years old Monday afternoon December 30, 2013. He was preceded in death by siblings: Robert & Lucille Reddy Leet, Max & Betty Foster Leet, both of Kalamazoo, and Frank Jr. and Joanne Dailey Leet of Kansas City, KS, and Marianne Leet & Harry "Skip" Strong of Grand Ledge, Ml; and brother-in-law, Alfred Boersma of Kalamazoo. He is survived by his sister, Elaine Boersma Leet. Don worked as a house painter and had a special talent for choosing colors, and should have been an interior designer. He was always dressed nice and in the latest fashions. In our busy world, Don was the person to always lend a helping hand. He always made everyone feel they were the most important person to him. He was a kind man. He was an eternal optimist and never complained about anything. We will miss him greatly. In accordance with Don's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Private burial will take place at a later date. A special Thank You to all the wonderful & caring staff at Tendercare of Portage and the good care given to Don over the years. Memorials can be made to Tendercare of Portage or St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
