CUNNINGHAM, Donald R.
Of Galesburg Passed away Friday morning, November 5, 2010 at his residence. Don was born March 9, 1938 in Pearl, MI the son of Oliver and Jeanette Meanie Cunningham. He was employed with Impact Label for several years before his retirement in 2001. Don enjoyed racing at Galesburg Speedway and working on cars. He especially enjoyed working on his street rods which he was very proud of. On November 22, 1958, Don was united in marriage to his loving wife, the former Janet Odenwaller who survives. Also surviving are 4 children, Christine Cunningham, Tarrie Jeff Hawver, Daniel Cunningham, Scott Bonni Cunningham; 7 grandchildren, Chad, Melanie, Joshua, Colt, Jacob, Scotty, and Will; his father, Oliver Patricia Cunningham; brothers and sisters, Sue Verburg, John Cathy Sorenson, Robert Joanne Sorenson, Peter Brenda Sorenson, Eugene Joanne Sorenson, Jim Sorenson, Linda Bill Nuyen, Glen Billie Statler; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette. Services will be held 11:00 o'clock Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Galesburg Chapel.
