Campbell, Dolores Rita Adamczewski
of Portage, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at age 86. Dolores was born August 20, 1926 in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Smiegel Adamczewski. She was married to Donald F. Campbell on August 26, 1950 who preceded her in death. They worked together at their family business, Service King. Dolores loved spending time with her family and friends and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Dee enjoyed the sun, beach, gardening, playing cards, cooking, and taking care of others. Surviving are five children, Kat Campbell, Barb John Krueger, Coleen Mel Payne, Jim Terri Campbell, Kevin Krista Campbell; 13 grandchildren, Terri Mike Trombley, Don Stacey Krueger, Robert Kelly Krueger, Tracy Darek Kovach, Kevin Teresa Payne, Tim Leslie Nilsson, Colette Andy Axe, Chad Sam Meyers Campbell, Chris Campbell, Ryan Kari Yant Campbell, Jennifer Jeremy Ball Campbell, and Rebecca Richard Stewart; her sister, Pat Eugene Cichoracki; her sister-in-law, Arlene Adamczewski; a special niece, Paula Campbell; her canine companion, Josie as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Additionally Dee had 20 great- grandchildren who always brought a smile to her face. Dolores was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Campbell; her brother, Butch Adamczewski; and her sister, Lori Christmas, as well as her beloved pet Roberta. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Deacon Eugene Cichoracki will officiate with interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to Hospice Care of South West Michigan.
